Citi-HKCSS Community Intern Programme

Citi – HKCSS Community Intern Programme is commenced and the Launching Ceremony had already conducted on 16 June 2015. This Community Intern Programme is sponsored and organized by Citi and co-organized by the Hong Kong Council of Social Services, aims at inspiring business students to contribute business knowledge and expertise to non-profit organizations during the internship. In addition, the programme aims to raise students’ awareness on Corporate Social Responsibility as well as to broaden their understanding of the community. 

4 PolyU students are selected to participate in the programme this year. They are assigned to work in different organizations and with different job nature. They will participate in 20 hours pre-internship induction sections, including basic training and sharing sections in order to enhance their abilities, and to broaden their understandings of social issues, e.g. problems of disparity between rich and poor, ageing programme, etc. They will also conduct 160 hours internship to apply their knowledge and skills in non-profit organizations and to build networks between other elites and thus to gain insights on the careers in no-profit sector.
