Work-Integrated Education (WIE) is “work-based learning experiences which take place in an organisational context relevant to a student’s future profession, or the development of generic skills that will be valuable in that profession.” In other words, WIE allows students to learn in the real-world yet at the same time contribute tangibly to the industry and community. WIE is a compulsory component of the undergraduate programs at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University Faculty of Business and students are required to complete 300 hours to be eligible for graduation. Our student body is culturally diverse with a significant population of international students. With a strong practical orientation, our students are ready to contribute to businesses and operations! |
